Hypoglycemia means “low blood sugar.” Do you see spots, or get fatigued really fast when you’re running? You might have low blood sugar! This DOESN’T mean you opt for the high sugar yummies. You need a proper snack! According to runDisney’s blog (one of my favorites!), the following are perfect to give you that needed energy DURING your activity:
- Sports drinks
- Dried figs
- Gels
- Honey Sticks
- Banana
- Sports Beans or Blocks
- Energy Bars
- Gummy Bears
