It’s Been A While, So Let’s Make a Smoothie!

Long time no see!  Sorry about that.  What have I been up to?  Let’s see:  

  • training
  • being a mom
  • being a wife
  • hosting a hungry soccer team every Sunday (and I’m enjoying it)

I’ve been really loving this smoothie that I’ve been making and it’s so easy:

  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons of Ovaltine (or 6 tablespoons of Carnation Instant Breakfast after my long runs)
  • 1 whole banana
  • 4 fresh or frozen strawberries, any size, un-stemmed 
  • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, smooth
  • handful of ice (optional for a thicker and colder smoothie)

Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth, and ENJOY!
